Summer Vacation: France Pt. 2 of 4

Part 2 of my two weeks in Paris.
The following days were filled with warm weather, friends, cultural activities, and lots of walking,
I spent some time gallery hopping in Le Marais neighborhood of Paris. I don't usually visit galleries when I come to Paris but I love galleries in New York so I was curious to see what Parisian galleries had to offer.

(Artists: Bunny Rogers, Allan McCollum, and Pricilla Tea)
I also took some time to enjoy the calm Place des Vosges in the same neighborhood where I was gallery hopping.
I spent most days walking for long periods of time so I often too breaks to enjoy the scenery and to find some wifi!!

No trip to Paris is complete without a trip to the Louvre!
More Paris street art below, this one was in Belleville area near where I use to live ^_^
On July 14th, Bastille Day, I got to watch fireworks from high up in the Tour Montparnasse (a skyscraper in Paris). The fireworks were around the Eiffel Tower which was actually pretty cool.
Sadly when we got home from the fireworks we saw on the news that there was a terror attack in Nice targeting spectators trying to enjoy the fireworks. It was a sad end to what started as a nice day. There is too much going on in the world right now, and there has been for a while.
