Art Fair

I'm back! After a break to catch up on my masters thesis and other school work I'm back to blogging. My graduation is coming up in May so between now and then, posts may still be inconstant. Sorry!

Last week I worked at and attended "The Art Show" held at the Park Avenue Armory building here in New York City. This art fair is organized by the Art Dealers Association of American (ADAA).

There were 72 galleries exhibiting some really great works. Here are some of my favorites from the fair.

Jasmin Siam, if I had a little zoo: GI Joe, World War II pigron hero saved thousands in Calvi Vecchia, Italy,  2015, ink, graphite and cut-outs on deli bag paper. Anthony Meier Fine Art

Deborah Butterfield, cast bronze with patina. Danese/Corey Gallery

Mary Bauermeister, Steinspiral, 2011, stones and glue on panel. Pavel Zoubok Gallery

Simone Leigh, Anatomy of Architecture Series, 2016. Tilton Gallery

Jules Olitski, Basium Blush, 1960, magna on canvas. Paul Kasmin Gallery

Fausto Melotti. Hauser & Wirth
