YouTube Party!

Since starting grad school last year I have tried a lot of new things that I would normally avoid. I have been trying to conquer my anxiety by testing out new situations. Not all have gone smoothly, one time I slipped and fell in front of a lot of people, but that's a story for another post.

In the past year, I have gone to bars, restaurant happy hours, museums events, and the most adventurous was an event at Youtube Space NY celebrating 10 years of YouTube. I've had a blog and YouTube channel for a while but don't really promote myself in fear of seeming silly or pompous and conceited. I'm trying to get over this and proudly share my online creative outlets.

The event at YouTube was great and the space was amazing. I was able to feel comfortable and confident while talking about my blog and YouTube channel. I met a lot of nice people and did well controlling my anxiety in such a busy social situation.

Here are some pics of the event:

I had to end the night with a classic bathroom selfie in their fancy bathroom with diva lighting ;P
