Volunteering

Another Sunday volunteering at the Noguchi Museum and Foundation in Queens, NY. This month's theme was patterns.Families had to find patterns in the museum then we used fruits and veggies to make patterns on tote bags. I used okra, a carved carrot and a carved potato. It was a lot of fun.
I love when the museum activity is one that families can easily do at home. I feel it encourages parents to not only spend time with their kids but maybe even inspires them to do more cultural/artistic activities with them too.
