Crepes

I love crepes, nutella and almond crepes to be exact. It's a pretty simple treat but very satisfying and they've become easy to make.

 
I usually search for a bunch of different recipes online to find the basic ratios of ingredients for whatever I'm making, then just wing it. This batch came out great! Here are the measurements I decided for this batch of crepes:

Makes about 12 9inch crepes
  •  1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tea spoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 tea spoon of sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups of milk
  • 1/2 cup of water
Basically you mix everything together until you get a slightly watery constancy that still coats a spoon. Don't think pancake batter, that is wayy thicker than this. Add more liquid or flour as needed.

The tough part is figuring out the technique for actually making the crepe in a pan. I find it's best to use a ladle to measure out equal amounts of batter for each crepe. Then pour the batter while swiveling the pan to spread the batter. It's definitely a trial and error kind of process but it's do-able.
