I have a bad habit of ignoring people and things around me when I'm power walking to work. The other day I casually noticed this giant flower horse at Rockefeller Center and didn't think anything about it, I just kept on walking. I mean why did I just think it was normal to have a giant flower horse hanging out. Well I finally decided to pay attention to it and saw it was actually a sculpture by Jeff Koons called Split-Rocker. It adds a nice bit of color to the drab monotone area. New York is full of secret wonders, I should probably start paying more attention to everything around me.
