Paper making

Last weekend I volunteered for a paper making family workshop at a NYC museum. Here are some photos of the process:

This is a tub full of water and cotton pulp, the wooden frame thing she's holding has a mesh sheet that catches the pulp and forms the paper.

After letting most of the water drip out we added designs to the paper

Then we sponged some more water out 

And ta-da! your cool (but still wet paper) is ready. Let it air dry at home for a while and you're ready to go
