A Year with Children Benefit

I just received my invitation to A Year with Children 2013: A Benefit for Learning Through Art at the Guggenheim Museum. I am so excited! Click on this link for details about the program. I worked with artist Jen Cecere at PS 42, check out the photos the Guggenheim posted of my classes.

Students from public schools all over New York City will have their artwork shown at the Guggenheim during this exhibition. I am so proud that many of the students I worked with with have some artwork in the gallery but also artwork in the special pop-up exhibition in the museum's rotunda. The invitation is for a special benefit before the opening of the exhibit. The actual exhibit opens to the public later that week, I think.

I'm so honored to be able to go to something like this at such a great museum and so happy to have worked with the sweet (sometimes too chatty) children of PS 42. I will definitely do a post-schmancy-evening post blabbling about getting to be a VIP, but that will have to wait until I actually attend said benefit in May. Ahhhhhhlalalalala I'm so excited!
